Established by Co-founders, Jack Bennett and Scott Porter in 2002, Bennett & Porter is young, yet remarkably seasoned. Jack Bennett

President, Founding Partner
Jack brings the dynamic energy of an entrepreneur backed by the wisdom of an experienced executive. After spending 10 years in the insurance industry, Jack co-founded Bennett & Porter in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2002. As Bennett & Porter’s client base grew and evolved, Jack took personal interest in providing high-value clients with insight and advice that supports their financial wellbeing and safeguards their lifestyle. B+P Private Client is a natural extension of this passion and loyalty.

Scott Porter

Senior Vice President Wealth Management, Founding Partner
Scott’s extensive wealth management experience as a Certified Financial Planner has distinguished him as a high performer amongst other executives in the industry. Scott joined Bennett & Porter as a partner in 2006 and has been instrumental in the firm’s continued growth, with the Wealth Management side of the business growing at least 30-40% year after year.

Scott Porter is in high demand as a lecturer and speaker and speaks frequently at various conferences across the U.S. He also participates as an advisor on multiple financial and investor panels.

Industry designations: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Series 7, 6, 63 securities licenses

Gregg Murset

Vice President, Employee Benefits
Gregg has considerable experience and vast knowledge in business, finance, insurance, and entrepreneurship. He’s spent over two decades advising clients in insurance & financial services and starting his own personal business ventures. He founded MyJobChart.com (now BusyKid.com), a platform for helping parents instill financial responsibility in their children. He was named Chairman of 2014 “Smart Money Week” for Arizona, and Financial Education Instructor of the Year for the National Financial Educators Council. His personal accolades represent his dedication to excellence and achievement in the financial industry.

Jeremy Smith

Chief Operating Officer
Jeremy brings a unique skill set to Bennett & Porter, with a background and education in both international business management and Mandarin Chinese. He has an undeniable passion for learning and excelling in anything he tries, a trait that has been an asset to the firm since he first joined as an insurance agent in 2002.

Jeremy handles all the behind-the-scenes operations at Bennett & Porter, heading up everything from licensing and contracting to technology and staffing. His ambition and leadership has helped the firm grow and gain notoriety over the years.
